
Today, 11 men escaped the Orleans Parish Jail in New Orleans Through a Hole in the Wall
Inmates can be seen escaping the prison in the middle of the night in newly leaked security footage.After slipping past the wall, they used blankets to scale a barbed wire fence before continuing on foot across nearby railroad tracks and onto the expressway.
The incident reportedly occurred around midnight early Friday (May 15) morning.
Aaccording to local news outlets, the inmates are considered armed and dangerous. So far only two of the men have been found. Several are facing second-degree murder charges, Jail officials said the escape was discovered during a routine headcount at 8:30 a.m.
The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with local and state law enforcement, is actively involved in the effort to locate and apprehend the fugitives.
