Cain Velasquez Former UFC heavyweight champion has been sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The charges stemmed from an incident in which Cain Velasquez chased after and repeatedly shot at the vehicle of a man accused of molesting his underage son.
Cain Velasquez, a former UFC heavyweight competitor, was given a five-year prison sentence on Monday for attempting to kill someone during a shooting in California in 2022.
The two-time UFC heavyweight champion was charged with ten felonies following a fast-paced pursuit with a man who was allegedly abusing Velasquez’s four-year-old son. Velasquez shot a car multiple times with a, 40-caliber handgun during the pursuit.
