Chris Brown was detained in Manchester shortly after arriving for his UK tour. He is in jail for a bottle attack in a London nightclub in 2023 that injured producer Abe Diaw.
Met Police detectives arrested the 36-year-old American rapper just after 2am at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester
Reports say that Chris hit Abe over the head with the bottle and then stomped on him while he was pass out on the floor. He has been charged with suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Abe filed a lawsuit in October 2023, claiming he sustained severe injuries, including head lacerations and torn ligaments in his leg, as well as enduring lasting emotional trauma.
Chris Brown, who is currently on a worldwide tour, remains in custody as investigations continue, potentially impacting his upcoming UK tour dates, now hanging in the balance as he remains in custody.
