An assistant trainer of predatory animals in Egyptian city of Tanta circus was attacked by a white tiger during the show, which led to the amputation of his arm.
A tiger attacked a circus worker, badly mauling him before he was rushed to hospital, during an Eid circus show in the Egyptian city of Tanta on Tuesday.

the incident occurred during the official show inside the cage dedicated to lions and Tigers at circus at the beaurevage Exhibition Grounds in the Egyptian city of Tanta.
The Trained in circus she said : I am in charge of training Lions during official performances and I was inside the cage at the moment of the incident.
She noted that the injured worker was standing behind the cage and no animal came out of the cage during the incident.
She confirmed that the audience did not suffer any injuries, adding : Thank God things are under control.
the Lions suddenly attacked the worker and injured him in the hand, provoking panic among the audience. Immediately, an ambulance was paid to take the injured person to the hospital for treatment.
Circus organizers have not yet commented on the tiger’s condition or the events preceding up to the attack, and authorities are still looking into the incident.
